Galyon Lumber Company is a wholesale distributor of Heavy Timber, Glulam, and other Prefabricated Timber products, distributing directly to general contractors in commercial construction markets throughout the continental United States.  We also include prefabricated hardware for wood-to-wood connections.

We specialize in heavy timber and glulam design, engineering, and prefabrication.

Surfaces can be rough full sawn or surfaced four sides.  A variety of Olympic stains are available.

We can help provide Value Engineering for jobs that might be over budget.  Engineer seals are available for most states. Engineering can also be included for concealed hardware (with a mortise and tendon appearance) for both heavy timber and glulam trusses.

Prefabrication of timber and glulam products includes cutting to length and shape, as well as drilling holes to fit hardware.  Material is matchmarked to facilitate assembly in the field.  Trusses are preassembled and shipped knocked down if necessary for field assembly.

Tongue and groove roof decking is available in many species, grades, solid or laminated, random length or specified lengths, end matched, or edge vee one side. We can usually match the specie of roof decking with the timber or glulam specie for a uniform appearance.  A wire brush finish is available as an alternate for some species.  A variety of Semi-Transparent Olympic stain colors are offered for your selection.

GLC can also provide a price to install heavy timber and glulam, including roof decking, and nailable base insulation.
